You never forget to maintain your physical health. You eat 3 times a day, take a bath, eat nutritious food, exercise and so on. Do you also maintain your mental health? You don’t maintain your mental health if you have envy, hate people, jealous and so on. Don’t let these types of mental illness destruct yourself.
Although types of mental illness are different from mild till severe, you have to treated mental illness soon. Do not transfer your mental illness to other people. For example you are worry about financial condition; don’t let your worry transfer to your children. Talk and share with your wife to find a solution. There are many factors that cause mental illness like environmental, biological, psychological and genetic. You can determine mental illness from what you look, act, talk, think etc. Although mental illness can be from genetics, but it doesn’t mean that every children have mental illness.
The most important factor is environment stressor. Changing jobs, divorce, substance abuse and so on can cause mental illness. Talk to your doctor. Let him diagnose your types of mental illness. You must inform transparently if you have psychological trauma like sexual abuse, loss of a parents etc.
