Feeling Depression, When to Need Drugs?

DEPRESSION is a problem that cannot be taken lightly because it can cause a variety of issues ranging from ways of thinking, behavior, emotional and physical impact. Depression usually begins with the stress that is mild and transient, but then will grow if the stress or pressure incurred faced a continuous and unresolved.

Other measures are laboratory tests to check the condition of the heart, levels of alcohol and drugs and thyroid function. Next is a psychological examination in the form of questionnaires, investigations feelings, thoughts and behaviors to find the cause of depression before getting treatment.

The purpose of administering drugs or pharmacotherapy in depressed patients. It is to improve the balance of chemicals in the brain or neurotransmitters drugs commonly used are anti-depressant that works on the brain to change the mood of patients.
